Larry
Carroll, Founder, Chairman and CEO
Larry has an extensive background
in direct sales, entrepreneurship, and business management.
He acquired the exclusive rights for the worldwide distribution
of The Boss® fleet management system in November of 1998.
Brian C. Carroll, President
Brian
G. Carroll is President of FleetBoss Global Positioning Solutions,
Inc. He joined FleetBoss in 1999 and has over 23 years of
experience in executive-level operations and sales management.
Brian coordinates FleetBoss' total business operations, including:
- Directing preparation for short-term and long-range plans
and budgets
- Oversight of managers who direct department activities,
ensuring that responsibilities and accountabilities are
clearly understood
- Supervision of design of hardware and software systems,
facilitating the flow of information
- Evaluation of the results of overall operations
Prior to his appointment as FleetBoss president, Brian helped
to develop highly successful entrepreneurial businesses, including
CrimeBlocker, Inc. where he served as Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer. Other positions Brian has held include
Regional Vice President for Scott Alarm, General Manager for
SecurityLink/ Ameritech, Manager at Orlando Regional Medical
Center, Chief Technologist at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital,
and Clinical Services Supervisor for Washington D.C. Hospital
Center.
He has extensive expertise in sales, management, financial
performance, organizational effectiveness and leadership development,
both in direct-to-consumer and B2B enterprises. Areas of specialty
include: Leadership, team building, executive coaching, organizational
learning, culture and change management, innovative fleet
management practices, and security operations.
Brian holds a Masters of Business Administration from Crummer
Graduate School of Business, Rollins College. He is married
and the father of three children.
Daniel
E. Lee, Vice President, Sales
Dan supplies the FleetBoss dealer network with the programs
and techniques for successfully selling the FleetBoss product
line. Using his sales management experience and strategic
problem solving skills, he assists dealers and sales managers
with issue resolutions and provides direction to help build
the businesses of the FleetBoss dealers.
Dan is a graduate of Ohio University with a BA in Communications.
He was the recipient of several major broadcast and advertising
industry sales awards and later in his career, entered the
security industry. Dan has recruited, trained and motivated
direct sales forces and has provided the leadership to achieve
consistent over-quota results.
J.
C. "Clif" Whelchel, Vice President, Technical Training
and Customer Support
Clif develops and oversees the training curriculum for FleetBoss
dealers and installation technicians. The training includes
a week-long program for new dealers at FleetBoss headquarters
and in-field training with dealers, their sales staff and
their technicians. Clif also initiates technical upgrades
and tests all hardware and software changes prior to their
final release.
Clif joined the Marine Corps, spending 10 years in electronic
surveillance with three combat tours in Vietnam. He then spent
10 years in law enforcement, as an undercover detective specializing
in narcotics and organized crime. Clif then built one of Florida's
largest custom home security and automation businesses and
sold it to Larry Carroll. Clif is also a licensed low voltage
contractor with a BA in Criminal Justice and has over 40 years
of experience in electronic surveillance and monitoring.
Lawrence
Carroll, Vice President, Research & Development
Lawrence directs product development and life cycle support.
He is responsible for providing effective and reliable products
with outstanding performance to the dealer network and end
user customers. With 20+ years in operations, logistics and
project management, Lawrence leads a team that is shaping
new technology
for exciting productivity applications.
Lawrence has a MS degree in Management Science from the University
of Central Texas and a BA in Philosophy from Loyola College.
He studied Operations Research at the Army Logistics Management
College and is a retired U.S. Army Aviator and Gulf War veteran.
Lawrence participated in the early fielding of high technology
aircraft, including the AH-64 Apache Attack and OH-58D Scout
helicopters.
