alert includes the current vehicle location and the time
the alert was received.
What
You Need To Get Started
The following requirements must be met in order to use this
service:
1.
Your mobile units must be "AVL-activated" models programmed
to send the alerts.
2. Your cell phone account and your AVL monitoring account
must be current.
3. The cell phone must have text-messaging capability on
one of the six first-tier wireless operators (AT&T Wireless,
Verizon, Cingular, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, or Nextel).
To
take advantage of this value-added service, visit the online
FleetBoss Client Support Area, login and provide the
following information:
1. Your company account information,
2. The telephone number and carrier where you would like
to receive alert messages, and
3. The desired alerts to be forwarded.
